Sasarwadi, A Boutique Restaurant by Studio Septray
Offering a balance between an inviting ambiance, soothing interiors with maximum seating capacity, this boutique restaurant blends traditional Maharashtrian decor with modern design elements.
The clients expected a space that symbolizes the rich culture, tradition, and food of Maharashtra. Keeping this in mind, the designers at Studio Septray delivered just that. Natural elements such as cane, bamboo fuse seamlessly with a colorful yet subtle palette of browns, mustards, tint of blue, pink, and greens in this restaurant.
The first glimpse of the space- The Façade a concoction of tall pillars cladded with burnt brick-patterned flex, rough-textured signage wall with a vibrant yet elegant logo, A cozy waiting corner with a wooden bench, stone-carved Holy basil plant stand. The Brass studded wooden paneled doors in combination with glass and wooden frame to allow maximum natural light.
As you enter the space, it welcomes you with a double-height ceiling cladding with natural bamboo, Cane lights, wooden furniture with cane accents. With the intent to let the customer enjoy every possible aspect of the space and understand the concept, the design features elements that maximize the perception of the space on its own.
