Serene Elegance: A Retirement Haven on Gurgaon's Golf Course Road

Tranquil Haven by Homework Interior Design Studio

Homework's latest masterpiece is a 2,600 square foot residence on Gurgaon’s prestigious Golf Course Road, designed as a tranquil retirement retreat for an elderly couple. The design embraces a 'less is more' philosophy, focusing on minimalism while infusing the space with character and warmth.

The primary objective was to harmonize aesthetics with functionality, all while ensuring the space remains effortlessly maintainable, a crucial consideration for our clients' retirement years. The design philosophy that was embraced can best be encapsulated by the phrase 'less is more', allowing Shagun singh to create an environment that is both minimal and rich in character.

The design focuses on simplicity with character, using innovative false ceilings to enhance the room's ambiance without diminishing the spacious feel. Thoughtful lighting accents play a crucial role, creating various moods that add depth and warmth to the home.

A nature-inspired color palette infuses the space with warmth and tranquility, creating a welcoming refuge from the outside world. The overall design fosters an atmosphere of comfort, making it an ideal retreat for the golden years.

Homework has successfully crafted not just a house, but a home—one that beautifully caters to the needs and desires of its residents, ensuring they enjoy their retirement in luxury and peace.
