LWYD Interactive HQ by Tall Storeys Collaborative
Tall Storeys Collaborative has reimagined the headquarters of LWYD Interactive in Bengaluru, crafting an office space that embodies the agency’s dynamic spirit and supports its growing team. Transitioning from a cramped environment, the new office is designed not just as a workspace but as a vibrant manifestation of LWYD’s creative ethos.
The core challenge was to create a space that supports both individual focus and collaborative creativity. The design features a flexible layout that maximizes functional work areas while incorporating relaxation and informal collaboration zones. Instead of traditional partitions, suspended green planters act as subtle space dividers, creating mini “ecosystems” for teams while maintaining an open and connected environment.
Meeting rooms are strategically placed between leadership offices and general work areas, fostering interaction and teamwork. This design approach integrates leadership with daily activities, making them approachable and part of the creative workflow. The office avoids the sterile look of conventional workplaces by incorporating residential-like elements, making the space welcoming and comfortable.
The choice of materials and colors is pivotal in defining the office’s character. Natural wood contrasts with modern metals and vibrant hues, creating a lively yet professional atmosphere. Glass surfaces are used creatively as writable areas for notes and ideas, enhancing communication and collaboration.
Fluted glass screens serve both decorative and functional purposes, delineating spaces without obstructing views. The playful translucency of these screens adds visual interest and integrates with the colors and patterns of the users’ attire, enriching the office’s aesthetic.
Tall Storeys Collaborative’s design for LWYD Interactive’s headquarters showcases how sensitive architectural design can break away from traditional corporate models, creating a space that is both functional and inspiring for a dynamic team.
